This was sold on Ebay as a HAN DYNASTY jade! The stone is nephrite jade that has been altered in color by chemical staining. This jade figurine was made during the Qing Dynasty about 100 years ago and could not possible be Han Dynasty. Notice there is no evidence of calcification or Han Dynasty motifs. The carving style does not comply to Han Dynasty jade artifacts of that early period.

Clue: most ancient jade Han Jade carvings  will display deep calcification and suffusions, because of their ancient age. Further, carving detail and workmanship is done by hand lapidary tools that leave hand tool signatures.
